You’re in luck – Llandudno has been populated in one way or another since prehistoric times – thanks to the neighbouring Resource-rich Great Orme, which is also a great defensive position for the communities of their time. It has also of course been a prominent holiday destination since the Victorian times – so there’s so much to learn about here.

Specialist Welsh Whisky producer Penderyn Distillery has recently established a distillery on Lloyd Street in Llandudno. Not only is this where they make some of the finest whisky that Wales has to offer, but you can also nip in for a whisky tasting experience.

RSPB Conwy is the place to go if you love wildlife. Take some time out of your day to walk through the reed bed at this outstanding bird reserve to look for reed warblers, waterbirds and waders. Gaze up above to spot all manner of avian wildlife.
