The Elm Tree Hotel sits in an idyllic position, at the centre of Llandudno’s thriving nightlife and entertainment. A leisurely stroll or a short drive away is the local theatre hub of Venue Cymru. With a multitude of shows going on throughout the year, including an annual pantomime; lots of visitors to Llandudno choose to spend an evening watching some first rate acting, singing and dancing here.

A Country Night in Nashville – 7th Sept ‘19
Prepare to be transported on a musical journey through the history of Country – featuring well known songs from its biggest stars, both past and present. You can expect hits from Johnny Cash, Dolly, the Dixie Chicks, Alan Jackson and Willie Nelson – all showcased by the amazingly talented Dominic Halpin and the Hurricanes. This is going to be an incredible celebration of country music, for any true country fan this is definitely a night you won’t want to miss.

Aled Jones & Russell Watson in Harmony Tour – 17th Sept ‘19
Two of the world’s greatest classical voices take to the stage together for their first joint UK and Ireland tour. The professionalism and camaraderie make them an ideal pairing – with the wonderful vocals on top, it is sure to be a wonderful night for those who have an appreciation for the beautiful harmonies they can create.

Swan Lake – 21st Oct ‘19
The Russian State Ballet and Opera House is back for its annual UK tour, complete with the expected spellbinding, lavish and full-production touring ballet. Since hearing Swan Lake by Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky for the first time 135 years ago, the world of ballet has never been the same.
Swan Lake is the compelling tale of two women, Odette and Odile who resemble each other so strongly that one can easily be mistaken for the other. Following the legend, Odette, is turned into a swan by an evil curse, but can her prince break the spell? Capturing the full range of human emotions, this ballet will have you on the edge of your seat.

Nutcracker – 22nd Oct ‘19
The Nutcracker is a seasonal favourite, capturing the hearts and imaginations of all generations across the world. A captivating piece of theatre, and a wonderful introduction to ballet. Getting you in the mood for the colder nights and cosier setting, snow flurries, magic and love will be portrayed on stage for your enjoyment.

North Wales Choral Festival – 9th Nov ‘19
Llandudno’s annual North Wales Choral Festival is returning to Venue Cymru from the 8th-10th November for a jam-packed weekend that any true choral fans won’t want to miss.

Sleeping Beauty – 7th Dec – 29th Dec ‘19
This year’s sensational family pantomime, Sleeping Beauty will feature Sherrie Hewson, Kieran Powell and Nigel Ellacott! Packed will all the traditional pantomime ingredients, Sleeping Beauty will be spectacularly brought to life with an abundance of show-stopping dancing, hilarious comedy and plenty of good old festive magic!
