The Elm Tree Hotel and the Queen Vic are delighted to support our hard working staff is this very worthy cause. Two of our members of staff will be raising money for St David’s Hospice by taking part in a Zip Wire Challenge.
St David’s Hospice is a local North Wales charity that provides vital end of life care totally free of charge to adult patients. The role that St David’s Hospice plays is very important to many who are facing terminal illness and their families so we are naturally very proud of our staff for taking part in fundraising for this cause.
We are especially proud since there are so many easier fundraising challenges our staff could have chosen such as a marathon but our brave colleagues will be facing the terrifying Zip Wire Challenge! This is no ordinary little Zip Wire but Bethesda’s Zip World. Zip World is the longest and fastest Zip Line in all of Europe. It is described as the nearest thing to flying and is certainly not for the faint hearted. It reaches speeds of 100mph and it takes you 500ft above the Mountain lakes so is not suitable for those who are scared of heights.
The charity Zip Wire fundraising challenge will take place on the 28th of April so please show your support by pledging a donation to the charity or sponsoring our brave staff members as they zoom through Snowdonia Mountains for St David’s Hospice.
As well as sporting very important local charities our staff are always dedicated to bringing you great service and entertainment. Please visit us at the Elm Tree Hotel Llandudno and the Queen Vic for top quality service, great events, music, food, entertainment and most importantly great company.
