It has been a fantastic year at the Elm Tree Seafront Hotel in Llandudno. We have had such a wonderful time and would like to thank all our guests who have stayed with us over 2015.

Now we are deep into December and everything in Llandudno has turned to Christmas. Although summer is traditionally the busiest time for holiday makers there is something quite special about visiting Llandudno in winter. It is quieter so you get to see a much more mystical and peaceful side to our stunning natural landscape. We highly recommend taking a walk up the Great and Little Orme or in the surrounding countryside. Winter is a good time to spot wildlife and the glittering effects of frost.

If you visit in winter you will benefit from stunning late sun rises and early sunsets and in December you have the added benefit of the streets sparkling with Christmas lights.

If you happen to be visiting Llandudno this December there are some fantastic winter events taking place that you will not want to miss.

If you are seeking a stylish and glamorous Christmas Party you should definitely pre order tickets to Venue Cymru’s Christmas Party. Venue Cymru is one of the best theatres in North Wales and this year they are going with a chic and glitz theme for their annual Christmas Party.

You can drink, dance and dine the night away in a sophisticated, dazzling setting on the 12th December for only £35.

If you want something a little different there will be a second Christmas Party at Venue Cymru with a fancy dress theme on the 18th December for only £18.

If you are seeking a great festive event to attend with the kids don’t miss out on Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Panto showing until the 31st December.

Have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year from the Elm Tree Hotel.
